Robert “Bob” E Holbert, born November 15, 1945, entered into rest April 30, 2016. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Pat; his brother, James; and brother-in-law, T W Ross. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rosalie; and brothers, Claude Jr. and Richard Wayne. He graduated from Central High School and Drury College prior to becoming a partner in Faulkner and Holbert Accounting of Springfield until 1988, when he moved to Phoenix to be CFO of Princeton American Equities. He later retired from Payne Family Properties in 2005. Bob believed in the JCI movement starting as a member in 1972 in the Springfield Jaycees where he served in many offices. He was recognized on the local, state, national and international level for his contributions. Bob was awarded Ambassador #390 and Senator 27166. Bob was active in the MO, AZ and US JCI Senate organizations and will be remembered by his many friends from around the world. He was a gentle man with a generous heart always ready to help in any way possible. He was an avid collector of many things, but his true passion was Jaycee trading pins. His interest led to creating a guide to identifying personal, chapter, state, national and international trading pins. The first attempt was a printed catalog titled "Pin Source" in 1987. It was moved into the 21st century with the creatIionwww.pinsource.inFO A celebration of life will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Sonoran Skies Mortuary, 5650 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85205 followed with a gathering of friends at Lowell & Debbie Vahl’s Casa. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 5234 State Hwy EE Springfield, MO on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
