Paul James Morris, age 76, of Pierce City, MO died on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Lacoba Homes Inc. in Monett, MO. Mr. Morris was born in Verona, MO on Monday, March 03, 1941. He was the son of James L and Pauline (Moening) Morris. Mr. Morris was a heavy equipment operator and worked for Olen Morris Construction for several years. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was a Baptist. Paul is survived by several cousins. The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, from 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM. Graveside services will be held at the Pierce City Cemetery in Pierce City, MO on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 beginning at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gary Stockton officiating. Burial will follow at Pierce City Cemetery in Pierce City, MO.
