Nancy Faye Golubski

March 7, 1942 - September 19, 2020

Nancy Faye Golubski, age 78, of Pierce City, MO died on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Oak Pointe of Monett in Monett, MO. She was born in Wheaton, MO on Saturday, March 07, 1942. She was the daughter of Clifford and Bernice (Bergman) Wogoman. She was married to Robert "Bob" Golubski on Saturday, May 13, 1961 in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Mrs. Golubski graduated from Wheaton High School where she played softball. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she taught CCD classes and was very much a part of the church community. Mrs. Golubski spent many hours learning how to cook Polish food. She became a master at making Polish delicacies. She was a caregiver to her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with each of them. Mrs. Golubski also loved and cared for animals starting with her first dog, “Fido”. She was a great cook, seamstress, and florist. She loved traveling. Mrs. Golbuski went on three cruises, went to St. Louis many times, and also traveled with ladies in the church to see Pope John Paul II in Chicago. She enjoyed life and had a sense of humor even late in life. Surviving are the following: her husband, Bob of Pierce City, MO; one daughter, Ramona (John) George of Rogersville, MO; one son, Craig Golubski of Pierce City, MO; one sister, Shirley (Charley) Tichenor of Wheaton, MO; two sisters-in-law, Patsy McCaffrey of Monett, MO and Barbara (Bill) Hilbert of Pierce City, MO; two grandchildren, Cierra (Andrew) Parada and Chase Golubski; three great-grandchildren, Roper, Brylee, and Brindelynn; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Golubski was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gary; two brothers-in-law, Phillip Golubski and Jack McCaffrey; and a great-grandchild, Olivia. Mrs. Golubski has been cremated at her request. The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Pulaskifield, MO on Thursday, September 24, 2020 beginning at 12:30 PM with Father Paul Pudhota officiating. Due to COVID 19, the family requests guests socially distance. It is fine to wave and show your condolences but please refrain from hugging, touching, etc. Please try to remain six feet from others and try to remain with your family during the service. Memorials may be made to SS Peter and Paul Cemetery in care of the funeral home or can be mailed to PO Box 208 Pierce City, MO 65723. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
