July 18, 1960 - May 5, 2018

Jerry W. Nicholson, age 57, of Mount Vernon, MO died on Saturday, May 05, 2018, at his home. Mr. Nicholson was born in Aurora, MO on Monday, July 18, 1960. He was the son of Clarence and Dora (Barker) Nicholson. Mr. Nicholson was a construction worker and a former member of Round Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include the following: two daughters, Sara (Wyatt) Hendricks of Miller, MO and Kristi (Michael) Carver of Miller, MO; one son, Billy Joe (Jennifer) Nicholson of Marionville, MO; five sisters, Martha Epps of Miller, MO, Patty (Roger) Myers of Rogersville, MO, Linda Bishop of Athens, TX, Mary Lou (Rod) Meyer of Purdy, MO, and Teresa (Rob) Frank of Smiths Grove, KY; two brothers, Jack (Wanda) Nicholson of Marshfield, MO and Jim (Carol Lou) Nicholson of Gun Barrel, TX; and four grandchildren, Desirae, Keana, Gavin, and Chloe. Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, Bill; a sister, Betty Gillingham; and infant sister at birth. Mr. Nicholson has been cremated at his request and memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday May 19, 2018 at the MARC in Mt. Vernon with Pastor Wally Baldwin officiating arrangements by Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
