Eugene "Gene" E. Golkoski

Eugene "Gene" Golkoski, age 87, of Purdy, MO passed away on Monday, December 07, 2020 at Bentonview Park Health and Rehab. in Monett, MO. Mr. Golkoski was born in Pierce City, MO on Monday, May 15, 1933. He was the son of Joe and Elsie (Jasumback) Golkoski. He worked as a truck driver and also worked at Friendly Supply Hardware Store in Pierce City, MO for many years. Mr. Golkoski enjoyed the farm and fishing. He liked being outdoors. Mr. Golkoski followed the Kansas City Chiefs. Surviving is one daughter, Jeanette Fredrick of Garden City, MO; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by friends and neighbors. Mr. Golkoski was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Kathryn Corn and Mary Johnson. Mr. Golkoski has been cremated at his request. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
